E\u011fer bosalt\u0131m sisteminde i\u015feme sonras\u0131nda geride idrar kal\u0131rsa, bu durumda idrar yolu iltihab\u0131 olusmas\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00f6nemli bir risk vard\u0131r. \u0130drar yolu iltihab\u0131, herhangi bir nedenle idrar yolunun eksik bosalt\u0131lmas\u0131 s\u00f6z konusu oldu\u011funda ortaya \u00e7\u0131kar. Nadiren obstr\u00fcktif \u00fcropati b\u00f6brek hasar\u0131na neden olabilir. Ancak yine de obstr\u00fcktif \u00fcropati, \u00e7ocuklarda b\u00f6brek yetmezli\u011finin en s\u0131k nedenidir. Obstr\u00fcktif \u00fcropati tedavi edilebilir ve genellikle geri d\u00f6nd\u00fcr\u00fclebilen bir durumdur. Obstr\u00fcktif \u00fcropatinin s\u00fcresinin uzamas\u0131 ile bo\u015falt\u0131m sisteminde bir\u00e7ok hasar meydana gelebilmektedir.
