\u0130\u011fne epidural aral\u0131\u011fa girdikten sonra, bunun i\u00e7inden \u00e7ok ince katater ad\u0131 verilen Plastik bir hortum ge\u00e7irilir. Bu esnada \u00e7ok hafif ge\u00e7ici bir Elektrik ak\u0131m\u0131 hissi duyulmas\u0131 normal. Daha sonra katater yerinde b\u0131rak\u0131larak i\u011fne \u00e7ekilir ve buradan anestezik Madde verilir.
